Pay Per Click Software
This new Pay Per Click Software lets you put checking your AdWords campaigns on autopilot.
The AdWords Campaign Watcher:
- automatically pauses your campaigns if your cost per conversion exceeds a value set by you
- checks your campaigns for you 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and sends email or text stat reports
This simple Pay Per Click Software takes less than five minutes to set up, and will free your time and your mind so you can focus on more important things.
You can finally take a night off, or go on vacation, or just have one less thing that can go wrong with your business and cost you money.
If you spend more than $500 a day on AdWords, or if any part of your online sales process goes down (like the server or your merchant account) more than once a year, consider this tool to be your “AdWords insurance”.
More About Pay Per Click Software
As someone who manages over $3 million dollars of AdWords clicks per year, after the AdWords Campaign Watcher, I’d have to point you to the AdWords Editor as the next best AdWords Management Software. It doesn’t automate any work, but you can make edits to your AdWords account MUCH faster than using the online interface.
There are dozens of AdWords tools and software that will help you find keywords, or automate your AdWords bid edits, or even help you automate testing adcopy. Choosing one depends on what you want to do and how complex you want your AdWords management to be.
The trouble with keyword tools is that you can easily get caught in the “keyword candy store” and end up with thousands of keywords to manage, when in reality your account is getting 95% of its traffic from the top 10 keywords, and you should be spending your time optimizing those keywords and testing your landing pages, not doing endless bid edits on keywords that really aren’t worth the time.
Pay Per Click Software that handles bid edits can be expensive, and it usually forces you to use the same formula for calculating bid edits as every other advertiser. I’m suspicious of that. It also isn’t smart enough to take in account changes in adcopy (which will affect your cost per click and your ads position, thus affecting your conversion rate). Furthermore, it doesn’t track new competitors, or competitors dropping out of bidding, and that also affects your bid prices.
There are plenty of Pay Per Click Software options. Some agency-level packages seem to be extremely high tech – so high tech, in fact that they start to make it hard to see the forest for the trees. That’s the fine line with AdWords software – balancing complexity with ease of use, and balancing all the information available with the focus to pick what’s most important and act on it. So far, nobody’s been able to automate that. It takes a human.
The AdWords Campaign Watcher doesn’t do a whole lot compared to all the AdWords tools I’ve outlined above, but it does two things very, very well. Being able to hand off those two tasks will be extremely helpful to some AdWords users. Not everybody, of course, but some of you. I encourage you to try it out for 14 days free. It might make your life a little easier.
